Maximiliano Danta

Born in Uruguay in 1993, Maximiliano Danta studied singing with Beatriz Pazos and graduated in Renaissance and Baroque singing from the G. Cantelli Conservatory in Novara under Roberto Balconi. He is currently pursuing further studies in chamber music at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin with Andrea Marchiol.

He has participated in international festivals in South America, Italy, and France, performing roles in operas by Blow, Purcell, Monteverdi, Zipoli, Bassani, Donizetti, and Agricola.

His sacred repertoire includes works by Bach, Charpentier, Scarlatti, and Vivaldi. He has recorded for GLOSSA and Nova Antiqua and performs with his ensemble, L’Humana Fragilità.

His upcoming projects include debuts in Vienna, Tenerife, Budapest, New York, and Innsbruck, performing roles in works by Händel, Conti, Stradella, and Vivaldi.

He is the winner of the First Prize at the prestigious International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera «Pietro Antonio Cesti»and the Premio Nazionale delle Arti, XVII edizione, sezione musica con strumenti antichi e voci.
